Bandanna Club© After School Youth Program
Our Bandanna Club© aims to give youth (8 and up) a well rounded horsemanship education. Students will learn about all aspects of horse care, training and riding. They will have the opportunity to work up the levels and earn the coordinating colored bandannas (much like the belts in karate).
Courses meet once a week; sessions are 2.5 hours long . We keep each course limited to a small number of students to ensure a quality education for each new rider. In each session students will:
- Help to keep the barn area clean
- Have a knowledge based lesson (breeds of horses, how to check vital signs, etc.)
- Groom and saddle their horses
- Work with the horses on the ground (leading & showmanship)
- RIDE!!!

Participate for 8 weeks also includes the T-Shirt, Bandanna Club notebook with handouts, and first level testing after completing the course.
Cost: $40 per session paid monthly
Short Stirrups!
Our Short Stirrups events are for the little kids (age 4+) to come experience riding horses and interacting with the farm animals. Events are typically held one weekend a month (check the Schedule!). Each event is 2 hours long and will include:
- A Game (to get the wiggles out)
- A Craft
- A lead line Riding Lesson
- A Snack
- Time in the Petting Zoo
Cost is $25 per child. To ensure everything runs smoothly a participating parent/adult is required for each family.

A TTR Facility must meet a stringent set of requirements intended to ensure the quality and safety of the farm, and the appropriate professional training and status of the instructors. Each instructor has completed SafeSport training through the U.S. Center for SafeSport and has passed a criminal background check in the current year.
